💧 What Is a Liquid Culture Syringe?

A liquid culture syringe contains sterile nutrient broth (usually a mix of sugars and yeast extract) inoculated with live mycelium. This allows for fast and efficient colonization of sterile substrates such as grain, rye, or compost.
Unlike spore syringes, liquid cultures contain active, vegetative mycelium, which results in quicker growth, higher success rates, and more predictable results in research and cultivation.
