What Is a Liquid Culture Syringe?

A liquid culture syringe contains sterile nutrient broth inoculated with live mycelium. This allows for fast and efficient colonization of sterile substrates.
Unlike spore syringes, liquid cultures contain active, vegetative mycelium, resulting in quicker growth and higher success rates.

Each 20ml syringe includes:

• Active mycelium (strain-specific)

• Sterile 18G needle

• Alcohol wipe

• Recommended for use within 6–8 months (refrigerated)

Strain: PES Hawaii (Psilocybe cubensis)

Short Description:

PES Hawaii, originally promoted by Pacific Exotica Spora, is a popular and resilient cubensis strain. Despite its name, it is not native to Hawaii, but is known for producing abundant flushes, tall fruiting bodies, and dense caps. The strain performs well in a wide range of environments, with highly visible rhizomorphic growth in liquid culture, making it ideal for reliable colonization and consistent yields in research-focused projects.

Shelf Life:

6–8 months (refrigerated at 2–8°C)

Storage Advice:

Store refrigerated between 2–8°C. Do not freeze. Shake gently before use. Keep sealed until application.
